About The Position

Bethany Medical is seeking a Non-Invasive Outpatient Cardiologist to join its established independent multi-specialty practice in Central North Carolina. The role is based in an all-outpatient practice environment and involves direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment. The cardiologist will develop patient management plans, document progress notes, help ensure continuity of care, communicate testing results and follow-up information to patients, and refer patients to specialists or other appropriate care services. The position works alongside other physicians and providers in a busy practice setting. Bethany Medical offers modern, well-equipped facilities, Allscripts EMR software, and extensive onsite ancillary services. The practice also provides primary, urgent, and specialty care. A J-1 visa waiver option is available.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy.
Completion of an accredited cardiology fellowship program.
Board certified or board eligible in cardiology.
Experience with nuclear imaging, echocardiograms, stress tests, and vascular ultrasound.

Responsibilities

Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care.
Communicate with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information.
Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as appropriate.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
Build relationships with patients and provide care with strong bedside manner and clinical skills.
