About The Position

The role maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by monitoring and patrolling premises and personnel. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills in observation, judgment, objectivity, dependability, emotional control, integrity, safety management, and professionalism; ability to deal with uncertainty.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, climb multiple stairs, respond promptly to emergencies, and lift heavy objects.

Nice To Haves

Security experience is preferred for some positions, but is not required.

Responsibilities

Monitor surveillance equipment; inspect buildings, equipment, and access points; and control entry to secure premises and personnel.
Patrol building lobbies, floors, parking garages, loading docks, and building perimeters while maintaining security procedures.
Report irregularities, inform violators of policies and procedures, and restrain trespassers to prevent loss and damage.
Record observations, information, incidents, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses; and obtain signatures to complete reports.
Monitor and set building and equipment controls to maintain the environment.
Comply with legal requirements to maintain the organization's stability and reputation.
