About The Position

Friendship Village is seeking a Security Officer for its Sunset Hills Campus in St. Louis, Missouri. The Security Officer maintains a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, visitors, and contractors, and protects campus buildings and property. Officers directly support or assist with meeting the needs of people across Independent Living, Skilled Nursing, and Assisted Living facilities. The role is part-time, with a mix of evening and night shifts, two to three shifts per week, and some weekends.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and maintain it.
Must have a clean/clear background.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a St. Louis County Security Officer's License.
Must obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED certificate from a qualified agency.
Strong positive attitude toward customer service.
Must strive to do the best job possible, be creative, and work toward accomplishing facility goals.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, visitors, and contractors.
Protect campus buildings and property.
Directly or in a support role, meet the needs of residents in Independent Living, Skilled Nursing, and Assisted Living facilities, as well as staff, visitors, and contractors.
Be willing to train and serve as a first responder.
