Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Be able to meet the physical essential functions of the job, including lifting 50 or more pounds, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, and working in inclement weather.

Nice To Haves

Previous security experience is preferred.
Bilingual ability is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV, access control, and alarm systems to help ensure facility safety.
Conduct patrols and inspections to detect hazards or suspicious activity.
Enforce property access policies and verify identification for visitors and contractors.
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, and coordinate with first responders.
Accurately document activities, incidents, and maintenance issues.
Provide customer service and assist with directions, inquiries, and building information.
Meet the physical demands of the assigned position, including extended standing, lifting, pushing or pulling at least 50 pounds, foot patrols, and working in inclement weather.
