About The Position

SafeHaven Security Group is seeking a dependable Security Officer to provide a professional, reassuring security presence at an assigned client location. The officer will help protect client staff, customers, visitors, and property by preventing problems, responding to concerns, and helping people feel safer. The role involves maintaining a visible presence, patrolling property, verifying access, responding to incidents, communicating clearly, and preparing reports. Officers must follow client-specific post orders, safety procedures, and company requirements. Selected candidates must complete required training and testing before independently performing assigned duties, and complete additional training as needed. Employment is contingent on applicable background screening, licensing, and drug-screening requirements, including a 10-panel drug screen subject to applicable law.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Be 21 years of age or older.
Dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Ability to remain attentive, recognize concerns, and exercise sound judgment.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
A calm, respectful approach when working with the public.
Availability for the posted schedule.
Valid driver’s license when driving is required for the assignment.
Ability to meet applicable state licensing, credentialing, and training requirements.
Successfully complete required company training and testing before independently performing assigned duties, and complete additional training as required.
Meet applicable background screening, security licensing, and drug screening requirements; the position requires a 10-panel drug screen, subject to applicable law.

Responsibilities
