About The Position

The Night Warehouse Supervisor is a full-time, permanent, third-shift position responsible for planning and executing daily staffing needs, leading shift meetings, assigning warehouse work, managing workflows, and supporting employees in following standard operating procedures. The role also maintains statistics on employees, productivity, reliability, and equipment. Requirements

• Associate’s degree and 3 to 5+ years of warehouse experience, with 0 to 1+ years of people leadership experience; or a high school diploma/general education degree and 5+ years of warehouse experience, with 2 to 3+ years of people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily manpower requirements for the current day and week while keeping overtime to a minimum.
• Conduct daily shift meetings to communicate safety and operational messages, receive suggestions, and answer questions.
• Assign daily duties to warehouse workers to meet safety, service, productivity, and reliability requirements.
• Manage workflows efficiently.
• Provide employee training, support, and direction to ensure understanding of and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain statistical information on employees, productivity, reliability, and equipment.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
