About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor, under the supervision of the Manager and/or Director, plans, directs, and coordinates organizational operations. The role is responsible for ensuring and improving departmental and organizational performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective methods and strategies.

The supervisor oversees planning, warehousing, and material control, from forecasting replenishment needs through finished-goods inventory and customer delivery. The role maintains regulatory and ethical compliance, including USDA and FDA requirements; supports material acquisition for product launches; and manages warehouse operations to improve efficiency, timeliness, and delivery accuracy. The supervisor also executes projects, helps establish annual goals aligned with corporate objectives, and hires, coaches, and mentors employees while building strong teams. The position collaborates across the organization and contributes as a member of the Executive Management Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or a minimum of five years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of five years of related experience in a high-level management position with P&L responsibility.
• Produce and/or food distribution experience.
• Working knowledge of USDA and FDA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities involved in planning, warehousing, and controlling materials, from forecasting replenishment needs through finished-goods inventory and customer delivery.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement, including USDA and FDA regulations.
• Participate in existing and new product planning to ensure timely acquisition of materials for product launches.
• Provide oversight of all warehouse operations.
• Manage warehouse operations to maximize efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy of finished-goods deliveries to customers.
• Execute special projects in a timely manner.
• Assist with establishing annual goals and objectives aligned with corporate objectives.
• Hire candidates, coach and mentor employees, and build strong teams.
• Collaborate with all levels of the organization and contribute as a member of the Executive Management Team.
