About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe facility and warehouse environment while following Preferred Work Methods (PWM). The technician removes trash and debris, cleans spills, uses warehouse cleaning equipment, cleans facility surfaces and grounds, and sanitizes shared spaces. The role follows a supervisor-assigned daily schedule to support a continuous sanitation maintenance program and performs other duties as directed by the supervisor.

The job requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Previous sanitation experience in a warehouse environment is highly preferred. The physical demands include regularly talking or hearing; frequently using hands and fingers with controlled dexterity; and often standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and tasting or smelling. The employee must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds and meet the specified vision requirements. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma, General Education Development (GED), or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using hands and fingers with controlled dexterity.
• Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• Previous sanitation experience within a warehouse environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and debris from warehouse and dock areas.
• Clean up spills of product or other foreign matter.
• Operate a power scrubber, walk-behind sweeper scrubber, and other warehouse equipment.
• Clean warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors, and related areas.
• Clean the facility building, grounds, lighting, and parking lots.
• Sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and locker rooms.
• Follow the daily schedule assigned by the supervisor to maintain a continuous sanitation program.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
