About The Position

The Warehouse - Sanitation position performs maintenance tasks to support the proper upkeep and cleanliness of Ben E. Keith Company buildings. The role cleans assigned areas and maintains designated dock areas to help ensure a safe and clean working environment. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret guidelines, operating instructions, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, both cold and hot.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Self-starter with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to work without constant supervision.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions and meet applicable productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• At least 3 months of work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations is helpful.
• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean all surfaces in assigned areas using appropriate maintenance tools and equipment.
• Maintain designated dock areas to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
