About The Position

The Sanitation, Warehouse role helps protect associate health and safety by maintaining a clean and safe workplace. The position performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks throughout warehouse dry, cooler, and freezer areas, and may perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience in general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work.
• Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts to help ensure the safety of all associates.
• Perform assigned cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
• Handle cleaning chemicals as directed in hazardous-material safety sheets.
• Complete assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
• Operate a pallet jack when required to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Complete all assignments accurately and on time.
• Work with cleaning chemicals when required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
