About The Position

Performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks in a warehouse facility, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas, and may perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. Duties include sweeping, dusting, mopping, picking up trash, and using a compactor. The role may require operating a pallet jack to transport refuse and trash to appropriate receptacles and working with cleaning chemicals. Employees follow safety rules and complete duties as assigned based on business needs.

The position pays $18.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with possible Sunday work. Employees must be able to work assigned schedules and required overtime.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
• Ability to work scheduled and assigned times and required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull products from shelves and replenish products at various heights. Items weigh 10–35 pounds and generally up to approximately 60–90 pounds, depending on location.
• Ability to work in dry, cooler, and freezer environments.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Electric pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines, and immediately report unsafe conditions or acts.
• Become certified to operate all required equipment.
• Perform assigned cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
• Handle cleaning chemicals according to hazardous-material safety sheets.
• Complete assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
• Complete assignments accurately and on time.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
