About The Position

Warehouse Sanitation helps maintain a clean and safe workplace to protect the health and safety of associates. The role performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks throughout the warehouse, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas, and may perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to finish.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts to help ensure associate safety.
• Perform assigned cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and other janitorial work.
• Handle cleaning chemicals according to hazardous-material safety sheets.
• Complete assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
• Operate a pallet jack as needed to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Complete all assignments accurately and on time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
