About The Position

Warehouse Sanitation helps maintain a clean and safe workplace by performing janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks in warehouse areas, including dry, cooler, and freezer spaces. Similar duties may be performed in office areas as assigned. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to finish. The role follows company health and safety policies, promptly reports unsafe conditions or acts, and handles cleaning chemicals according to hazardous-material instructions. It also includes completing assigned safety training and may involve operating a pallet jack to transport refuse or trash. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
Immediately report unsafe conditions or unsafe acts.
Perform assigned cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
Handle cleaning chemicals as directed in hazardous-material sheets.
Complete assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
Operate a pallet jack, if required, to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.
Complete all assignments accurately and on time.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
