About The Position

The Warehouse Sanitation associate helps maintain a clean and safe workplace by performing general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks in warehouse areas, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. Similar duties may be performed in office areas as assigned. The role follows company health and safety policies, handles cleaning chemicals according to hazmat material sheets, and may use a pallet jack to transport refuse or trash. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Pay is $19.00–$20.25 per hour, including a $1.25 freezer differential. The position is full-time and offers benefits beginning on Day 1.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least 3 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts to help ensure the safety of associates.
Perform assigned cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
Handle cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
Complete all assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
Use a pallet jack as needed to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.
Complete all assignments accurately and on time.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
