About The Position

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks in a warehouse facility, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. Similar duties may be performed in office areas as assigned. The role follows company health and safety policies, reports unsafe conditions or acts, handles cleaning chemicals according to hazmat material sheets, and completes assigned safety training and work accurately and on time. The position may require operating a pallet jack to transport refuse and trash.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
• Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position up to 30 pounds regularly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and up to 65 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with a variety of noise levels and potential temperature extremes.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals.

Nice To Haves

• At least 12 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
• Electric pallet jack and forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts to help ensure the safety of all associates.
• Perform assigned cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
• Handle cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Complete all assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
• Operate a pallet jack when required to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Complete assignments accurately and on time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
