About The Position

The Sanitation, Warehouse role helps protect associate health and safety by maintaining a clean and safe workplace. The position performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks throughout warehouse areas, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas, and may perform similar duties in office areas. The role may also support general facility upkeep through minor maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow company health and safety policies and guidelines while completing work.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts.
• Perform assigned cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial work.
• Handle cleaning chemicals according to hazardous-material safety sheets.
• Complete assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
• Use a pallet jack, if required, to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Complete all assignments accurately and on time.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing light fixtures and making basic repairs, and safely operate hand and power tools.
• Work collaboratively to maintain sanitation standards and overall facility conditions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
