About The Position

The Sanitation, Warehouse role helps protect associate health and safety by maintaining a clean and safe workplace. The position performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks throughout warehouse areas, including dry, cooler, and freezer spaces, and may perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. Duties may involve handling cleaning chemicals according to hazmat material sheets and operating a pallet jack to transport refuse or trash.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts.
• Perform assigned cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and other janitorial tasks.
• Handle cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Complete all assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
• Operate a pallet jack, if required, to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Complete all assignments accurately and on time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
