About The Position

Litehouse Foods is hiring a Sanitation Technician I for its facility in Hurricane, Utah, on the C shift from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. The starting pay is $19.00 per hour, with an additional $3 per hour for the C shift. The role helps maintain facility cleanliness and food safety by cleaning and sanitizing containers, tanks, and production equipment, and by ensuring sanitation work meets required standards. The position requires working overtime and weekends as needed to support production demands.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
• Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to identify issues during equipment cleaning.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurement and documentation.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfort working around cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food storage containers, tanks, and production equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in multiple facility areas.
• Operate cleaning tools and equipment using chemicals and water systems.
• Inspect completed sanitation tasks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow food safety policies and report safety or quality concerns.
• Contribute to overall facility cleanliness and sanitation.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed to support production demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
