About The Position

Litehouse Foods is seeking a Sanitation Technician to help maintain cleanliness and food safety at its Hurricane, Utah facility. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing food storage containers, tanks, and production equipment; maintaining clean and organized facility areas; using cleaning tools, chemicals, and water systems; inspecting sanitation work; completing documentation; and following food safety policies. The position is on C shift, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, with an additional $3 per hour for C shift. Overtime and weekend work may be needed to support production demands.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
• Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to identify issues during equipment cleaning.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurement and documentation.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfort working around cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food storage containers, tanks, and production equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in multiple facility areas.
• Operate cleaning tools and equipment using chemicals and water systems.
• Inspect completed sanitation tasks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow food safety policies and report safety or quality concerns.
• Contribute to overall facility cleanliness and sanitation.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed to support production demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
