About The Position

The Night Operations Manager is responsible for knowing store opening and closing procedures and enforcing proper operating procedures throughout the store. The role supports a positive work environment for associates and a positive shopping experience for customers. Primary hours are 3–4 nights per week; hours may vary according to each store’s operating hours and business needs. The position may require working in multiple stores within the district or region and coordinating scheduled warehouse deliveries.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school education.
Attend a Company MOD Class and pass the MOD Certification test.
Ability to work in multiple stores within the district or region based on business needs.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
Basic computer skills.
Strong customer service, communication, management, leadership, decision-making, and conflict-management skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Working knowledge of company standard operating procedures and ability to make decisions and provide effective leadership.
Working knowledge of store systems, including POS, receiving, and Kronos.
Pallet jack certification.

Nice To Haves

1–3 years of retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain remarkable customer service, customer relations, and acceptable service levels.
Respond quickly and effectively to customer concerns while following company policies and procedures.
Monitor stock levels and advertising support to maximize sales potential.
Act quickly and accurately when customer, associate, or building problems arise.
Complete and log refrigeration checks according to standard operating procedures.
Know and apply the Crisis Manual in the event of a power outage or weather-related issue.
Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet business needs.
Enforce safety, sanitation, and operating policies to maintain a clean and safe environment for associates and customers.
Maintain a friendly, professional, and organized image throughout all departments and areas, including the parking lot, vestibule, and checkouts.
Perform store-level tasks and projects assigned by the store manager.
Coordinate scheduled warehouse deliveries.
