About The Position

The Night Lead oversees overnight operations at an American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, ensuring guest safety, security, and comfort. The role responds to emergencies, conducts security checks, completes nightly reporting, and prepares the lodge for the next day. The listed schedule is 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., and the pay rate is $24.75 per hour.

The position includes monitoring guest needs, patrolling the lodge and enforcing safety protocols, coordinating emergency responses, maintaining accurate operational records, inspecting rooms and shared spaces, laundering linens, and resetting common areas. Travel is minimal. The role may require working indoors and outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in hotel, hospitality, healthcare, or a related field, including knowledge of overnight operations, guest services, and night auditing procedures.
• Knowledge of security and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Proficiency in reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, frequent walking, occasional lifting and carrying, manual tasks, and overnight physical endurance.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various environmental and weather conditions.
