Night Janitor (Part-Time, Mon–Sat, 9 PM–1 AM) – Fort Myers
About The Position
E2E Cleaning Services is hiring a part-time night janitor to clean and secure a 20,000-square-foot beauty school in Fort Myers, Florida. The position follows a written route card and checklist on a consistent four-hour shift, six nights per week. The janitor works independently after students and stylists have left, and locks up the building at the end of the shift. The mop schedule varies by night so that each area is mopped according to its set rotation. The job requires standing, bending, and sweeping for the full shift and lifting at least 20 pounds. Applicants must be at least 18, speak English, pass a background check, and have reliable transportation for a shift ending at 1:00 AM. A smartphone is needed for the scheduling app, team chat, and photo reports. Janitorial, salon, or school-cleaning experience is a plus but is not required; on-site training is provided. E2E provides steady part-time evening hours, paid on-site training, a written route card and checklist, a uniform and photo ID, and cleaning supplies and equipment. A trained backup covers the janitor's nights off. Strong team members may have an opportunity to move into a Team Lead role as the company grows. Applicants who own a registered cleaning business may also apply separately to provide on-call subcontractor coverage; that arrangement requires a registered business and general liability insurance.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Speaks English.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Reliable and on time for six nights a week.
- Reliable transportation for a shift ending at 1:00 AM.
- Comfortable working alone at night in a closed building and trustworthy with keys and lock-up.
- Detail-minded and careful around school property; student kits, mannequin heads, tools, and retail displays must not be moved.
- Able to stand, bend, and sweep for a full four-hour shift and lift at least 20 pounds.
- Has a smartphone for the scheduling app, team chat, and photo reports.

Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms nightly, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, stalls, and counters; restock soap and paper and mop the floors.
- Sweep hair from under and around salon stations and sweep classroom and clinic floors.
- Mop areas according to the set schedule: restrooms, shampoo room, and retail nightly; classrooms, clinics, and office floors twice weekly on a rotation.
- Wipe and polish stainless steel trash cans until free of smudges and fingerprints.
- Vacuum office carpet, spot-clean office glass, and wipe down the classroom kitchenette.
- Empty break-room and outside trash.
- Inspect completed work at the end of the night, then lock up and secure the building.
- Report broken items, leaks, or low supplies on the same night.
