About The Position

E2E Cleaning Services is hiring a part-time night janitor to clean and secure a 20,000-square-foot beauty school in Fort Myers, Florida. The position works Monday through Saturday from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM, for 24 hours per week, with Sundays off. The janitor works independently in the closed building and follows a written route card and checklist. Restrooms, the shampoo room, and retail areas are mopped nightly; classrooms, clinics, and office floors are mopped twice a week according to a set rotation. The job includes cleaning and sanitizing restrooms; sweeping hair from salon stations and floors in classrooms and clinics; mopping scheduled areas; polishing stainless steel trash cans; vacuuming office carpet; spot-cleaning office glass; wiping down the classroom kitchenette; and emptying indoor and outdoor trash. At the end of the shift, the janitor checks their work, reports problems or low supplies, and locks and secures the building. School property and displays must not be moved while cleaning. Applicants must be at least 18, speak English, pass a background check, have reliable transportation for a shift ending at 1:00 AM, and be able to stand, bend, and sweep throughout a four-hour shift and lift at least 20 pounds. A smartphone is needed for the scheduling app, team chat, and photo reports. Janitorial, salon, or school cleaning experience is a plus but not required; on-site training is provided. A registered cleaning business with general liability insurance may separately apply to provide on-call subcontractor coverage for the janitor's days off and vacations.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must speak English.
Must be reliable and on time for six nights a week.
Must be comfortable working alone at night in a closed building and trustworthy with keys and lock-up.
Must be detail-minded and careful around school property.
Must be able to stand, bend, and sweep for a full four-hour shift and lift at least 20 pounds.
Must have a smartphone for the scheduling app, team chat, and photo reports.
Must pass a background check.
Must have reliable transportation for a shift ending at 1:00 AM.

Nice To Haves

Janitorial, salon, or school cleaning experience is a plus but is not required.
For the separate on-call subcontractor opportunity: own a registered cleaning business and have general liability insurance.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms nightly, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, stalls, and counters; restock soap and paper and mop.
Sweep hair from under and around salon stations and sweep classroom and clinic floors.
Mop each area according to the scheduled rotation: restrooms, shampoo room, and retail nightly; classrooms, clinics, and office floors twice a week.
Wipe and polish stainless steel trash cans, removing smudges and fingerprints.
Vacuum office carpet, spot-clean office glass, and wipe down the classroom kitchenette.
Empty break-room and outside trash.
Inspect the building and the completed work at the end of the shift, then lock up and secure the building.
Report broken items, leaks, or low supplies the same night.
Clean around student kits, mannequin heads, tools, and retail displays without moving them.
