About The Position

The Night Auditor owns the overnight operation at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in York, Nebraska, keeping the property secure, balanced, and guest-ready for the next day. The role combines front desk responsibilities with nightly financial reporting and preparation for the morning team. The schedule is overnight, from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and the position may be full-time or part-time.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out accurately and professionally.
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues independently overnight.
• Complete the nightly audit and balance hotel revenue and transactions.
• Reconcile cash, credit cards, and system reports.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports for management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure front desk and lobby area.
• Conduct property walks to ensure safety and security standards.
• Set up the basic breakfast area as needed for morning service.
• Communicate clear shift notes to the morning team.
