About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Night Auditor to join its team. The role includes reservations and guest inquiries, accurate record-keeping, handling special requests, and completing assigned projects and documents. The position is tipped eligible. Requirements

• Minimum high school education.
• At least six months of prior reservations or front office experience in a hotel or related setting.
• Strong knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Strong working knowledge of Opera PMS.
• Ability to maintain consistency, diplomacy, and tact in challenging situations.
• Ability to follow detailed record-keeping procedures requiring administration and attention to detail.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Ability to make quick, efficient decisions that benefit the team and guests.
• Ability to use a moderately complex computer system and troubleshoot software problems.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with PEP PMS is desired.

Responsibilities

• Take reservations and accurately enter them into the computer system.
• Answer inquiries about room rates, outlets, and room locations.
• Interact with the Group Rooms Coordinator on bookings.
• Activate the manual system in the event of system downtime.
• Keep up to date with knowledge of the phone system.
• Handle guests’ special requests professionally.
• Post advance deposits and maintain accurate deposit records.
• Complete necessary projects by assigned deadlines.
• Complete documents as directed and to specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
