About The Position

Perform night audit operations to maintain financial controls and ensure compliance with hotel standards. Coordinate with other departments, including Security and Housekeeping, to ensure quality guest service. The role involves auditing and reconciling revenue, producing daily reports, making system adjustments, resolving computer issues, and preparing the system for the next day's operations.

Requirements

• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to make accurate mathematical calculations using a 10-key.
• Ability to address guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.

• Hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes and journals, breaking down revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out, and settlements by type and cashier.
• Run audit reports and journals from the front office system, Point of Service, and computer.
• Make corrections and adjustments and handle computer problems that occur throughout the shift.
• Input revenue, expenses, and allowances into the front office system to generate daily reports, including the Guest Ledger Summary and Daily Restaurant Summary.
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for next-day operations.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Coordinate with departments such as Security and Housekeeping to support quality guest service.
