About The Position
The Night Auditor oversees overnight hotel operations at DoubleTree Atlanta Northlake in Tucker, Georgia. The role processes night audit reports, balances daily transactions, and responds to guest needs. It also performs clerical and basic accounting tasks and helps maintain a safe, professional environment during third-shift hours.
Responsibilities
- Process night audit reports and balance daily hotel operations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Deliver prompt, courteous service to guests.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel systems, including PMS, PBX, key locks, and fire alarm protocols.
- Monitor guest accounts, review credit activity, and take necessary action.
- Follow cash-handling policies and procedures.
- Respond to guest inquiries and emergencies; assist with reservations and room sales, including upselling.
- Complete all tasks outlined in the night shift checklist.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and an organized work area.
- Stay informed about the surrounding area to assist guests.
- Protect guest confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Foster a positive and professional environment with guests and team members.
