About The Position

The Night Audit Agent performs front desk and audit duties during overnight hours at The Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel. The role helps ensure smooth hotel operations, accurate guest accounts, and a safe and welcoming environment. The agent assists guests, resolves account discrepancies, and works with other departments to provide a seamless guest experience.

Requirements

Prior cash-handling experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong computer skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

Perform front desk duties, including guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift.
Process guest payments and maintain accurate records.
Conduct night audits to verify guest-account accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and issues that arise overnight.
Help ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises during overnight hours.
Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Collaborate with other departments to address guest needs and support a seamless guest experience.
Maintain knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to assist guests.
