About The Position

Under the supervision of the New Truck Sales Manager, the New Truck Salesman is responsible for selling new equipment, generating revenue, and achieving customer satisfaction. The position is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening. The background check may include verification of criminal history, employment history, educational credentials, and professional references. Job duties may change based on organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Sell new trucks of all varieties in stock.
• Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales and prospecting activities.
• Gather and submit detailed business information for pricing, and present solutions to identified prospects.
• Help maintain the New Truck lot.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
