About The Position

Valley Health System is recruiting BSN new graduates who graduated in 2026 for its Spring 2027 New Graduate RN Residency Program, which begins in March 2027. Applicants must be new graduate RNs with no prior RN/LPN work experience or less than six months of LPN/RN experience. The program considers applicants with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants must include their current GPA on their resume and identify their top two areas of preference in a cover letter; applications missing either item will not be considered. The application deadline is 12:00 PM Friday, November 13, 2026. Residents may be considered for Float Pool, medical-surgical/step-down, oncology, neurology, geriatrics/pulmonary, Emergency Department, cardiac intensive care, bariatric/surgical, cardiac telemetry/step-down, or Women's and Children Services (Post Partum or NICU). Applicants interested in Women's and Children Services must identify one specific area. All resident positions are for the night shift. Residents begin orientation on the day shift and transition to the night shift at some point during the first six months. A current American Heart Association BLS for the healthcare provider certification is required upon entry and must remain valid for at least three months after the program start date. Applicants must obtain a New Jersey Registered Nurse License at least two weeks before the residency begins; a license number alone is not sufficient. Related clinical work experience is a plus. The job is located at The Valley Hospital in Paramus.
