New Grad Veterinarian

Sploot Veterinary Care•Colorado Springs, CO
•Onsite

About The Position

Sploot is hiring new graduate veterinarians in Colorado Springs, welcoming 2026 and 2027 graduates. New graduates begin with CAMP (Coaching And Mentorship Program), a structured, one-on-one mentorship pathway designed to build the clinical skills, confidence, and efficiency needed to practice independently. The program pairs the veterinarian with a senior DVM and provides support from experienced doctors and a fully staffed nursing team. During the first six weeks of CAMP, the new graduate is paired with a senior DVM each shift and sees the same schedule while learning the full scope of DVM responsibilities. Continued mentorship includes protected learning blocks that taper as confidence and caseload grow. After graduating from CAMP, the veterinarian receives a formal three-month evaluation covering clinical decision-making, case management, efficiency, client communication, medical records, and nurse delegation. The role offers experience across multiple Sploot hospitals and exposure to a variety of DVMs, supported by a primary mentor, a guided curriculum with adaptable knowledge and skills checks, strong pre-visit triage, and a skilled nursing team with up to a 3:1 nurse-to-DVM ratio. The position combines urgent care and general practice. There are no non-compete contracts.
