New Grad Veterinarian

Sploot Veterinary Care•Salt Lake City, UT
•Onsite

About The Position

Sploot is hiring new graduate veterinarians in Salt Lake City for 2026 and 2027. The role combines urgent care and general practice and begins with CAMP (Coaching And Mentorship Program), a structured, one-on-one mentorship pathway intended to build clinical skills, confidence, and efficiency so graduates can practice independently. New veterinarians work alongside experienced doctors and a fully staffed nursing team. During the first six weeks, veterinarians are paired one-on-one with a senior DVM each shift and see the same schedule while learning the full scope of DVM responsibilities. Continued mentorship includes protected learning blocks that taper as confidence and caseload grow. After CAMP, a formal three-month evaluation reviews clinical decision-making, case management, efficiency, client communication, medical records, and nurse delegation. The program includes a primary mentor, a guided curriculum with knowledge and skills checks, experience across multiple Sploot hospitals, a nursing team with up to a 3:1 nurse-to-DVM ratio, and pre-visit triage. Sploot does not use non-compete contracts.
