New Grad Float RN
About The Position
The New Grad Float RN provides nursing care at Greenville Hospital and may cross-train and work in Medical-Surgical, ICU, Emergency Department, and OB units. The float role offers opportunities to develop a broader skill set and includes a pay incentive for float work. The nurse delivers accountable care in accordance with American Nurses Association professional standards and Michigan law, using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role upholds professional performance standards, including ethical and culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health. The nurse strives to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 5 years.
- Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS), required within 90 days.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), required within 6 months.
Responsibilities

- Cross-train and float among Medical-Surgical, ICU, Emergency Department, and OB units.
