New Grad Broker
About The Position
Colliers is hiring a New Grad Broker to launch a career in commercial real estate sales and/or leasing. The role is intended for recent graduates of US universities graduating in Fall 2026 or Winter/Spring 2027. The successful candidate will help secure new and expanding business in a specific sector, build and maintain client relationships, identify revenue opportunities, and collaborate with teams across product lines and service lines. The role also provides opportunities to learn the business and local marketplace through industry events, networking, and client meetings.
Requirements
- Must graduate from a US university program in Fall 2026 or Winter/Spring 2027.
- Hold a valid real estate license in the state where the job is posted, or be willing to obtain one within six months of joining Colliers.
- Some understanding of the real estate industry, related terminology, and documentation, or other related sales experience.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service to people at all organizational levels and external partners through clear, concise oral and written communication.
- Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, produce high-quality deliverables, and maintain attention to detail.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor work visas.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in financial analysis or brokerage.
- Experience with business development and/or sales activities such as cold-calling and market research.
- Sound judgment and ability to navigate complex business relationships while maintaining professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Secure new and expanding business opportunities in the assigned sector through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and identifying opportunities for other service lines.
- Create solutions and opportunities that drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with Leasing, Investment Sales, Equity Placement/Debt Financing, and other service-line teams, including property management.
- Maintain company databases to track prospects and business opportunities.
- Learn the business and local marketplace by attending local business and industry events, networking, and participating in client meetings.
