About The Position

R.J. Kielty Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electric, Inc. is hiring an experienced residential new construction plumber in the Orlando, Florida area. This is a W-2 employee position for a plumber currently working as a subcontractor, with potential gross earnings of $1,500–$2,500 per week based on production. The company provides a truck, an apprentice at no cost to the employee, applicable insurance and workers’ compensation coverage, and employee benefits. The role involves residential plumbing installations, including underground systems, top-outs in one- and two-story homes, tubs, shower pans, toilets, fixtures, water supply systems, DWV systems, faucets, and water heaters. The plumber will read blueprints, follow job specifications and builder schedules, comply with plumbing codes and safety requirements, and keep job sites clean and organized. R.J. Kielty is a family-owned and operated Florida company with 53 years in business and locations in Orlando, Brandon, and New Port Richey. Walk-ins are encouraged at the company’s locations.

Requirements

At least 3 years of residential new construction plumbing experience.
Experience with undergrounds, top-outs, and fixture installations.
Knowledge of plumbing codes and blueprint reading.
Required plumbing hand tools.
Valid Florida driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
At least 21 years old due to company vehicle insurance requirements.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Dependable, productive, and committed to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Install underground plumbing systems in residential new construction.
Complete top-outs in one- and two-story homes.
Set tubs, shower pans, toilets, and fixtures.
Install water supply and drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems, faucets, water heaters, and related components.
Read blueprints, follow job specifications, and meet builder schedules.
Follow applicable plumbing codes and safety requirements.
Maintain clean, organized job sites.
