About The Position

Locumsmart is seeking an experienced Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for coverage at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, WA. This is a locum tenens position providing supplemental coverage for inpatient clinical hours and occasional weekend call. The provider will work a schedule of 4/10s per week, with shifts from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and will be responsible for rounding and beeper call on Saturdays and Sundays (12 hours each day).

Requirements

• Active WA or Active IMLC license.
• DEA required.
• Board Certified (BC).
• Experienced Neurosurgery NP or PA.
• Ability to work 4/10s per week.
• Availability for occasional weekend call (Saturday and Sunday, 12 hours each).

Nice To Haves

• First assist experience in surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient clinical coverage in Neurosurgery.
• Round on patients in the morning.
• Be on beeper call for 12 hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Provide first assist in surgery (bonus, not required).
