About The Position

Locumsmart is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for coverage at Swedish Gynecologic Oncology and Pelvic Surgery, Providence Everett Medical Center in Everett, WA. This is a locum tenens assignment to cover two PAs going on maternity leave. The provider will work in both outpatient and inpatient settings, focusing on Gynecologic Oncology and Pelvic Surgery. Experience with first assisting, robotic surgeries (DaVinci Surgical system), and pelvic exams is required. The role involves clinical hours only, with a schedule of 4 10-hour shifts per week: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for operating days, Thursday off, and Friday for clinic and admin duties. The assignment runs from August 1, 2026, to February 15, 2027, with the provider initially working in Everett and then transitioning to Swedish First Hill. Providers with specific background issues (settlements, DUIs, restrictions, terminations, Medical Board actions, etc.) are not eligible for temporary privileges.

Requirements

• Active WA or IMLC license.
• DEA Required.
• Board Certified (BC).
• Experience with Gynecologic Oncology and Pelvic Surgery.
• First assisting experience is a must.
• Experience with robotic surgeries (Davinci Surgical system).
• Experience in pelvic exams.
• Experience in standard GYN processes and procedures.
• Must be able to obtain hospital privileges.
• No settlements, DUIs/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions.

Nice To Haves

• RN First Assisting Certification (RNFA).

Responsibilities
