About The Position
Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for urgent inpatient oncology coverage in Spokane, WA. The role involves managing inpatient oncology patients, with a shift from 8 am to 5 pm, including an unpaid lunch break. This is a full-time position requiring 4 weeks of coverage per month, with 8 guaranteed hours per day. Overtime applies after 40 hours per week. The provider must have a clean file for expedited credentialing, which typically takes 30 days. Providers with settlements, DUIs, drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions are not eligible for temporary privileges. If additional candidates are needed, the process could take up to 90 days.
Requirements
- Active or IMLC license
- DEA Required
- BC (Board Certified)
- Experienced in Oncology
- Clean file for expedited privileges (preferred for initial urgent need)
- Ability to return paperwork quickly
- Must be able to work full time, 4 weeks per month
- Must have current CV uploaded to bid
Nice To Haves
- Providers with settlements, DUIs/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, Medical Board actions may be considered if the clean file process takes too long.
