About The Position
We are seeking a qualified Neurology Physician for locum coverage. The initial coverage period is from Monday, December 14, 2026 (7 AM) to Monday, December 21, 2026 (7 AM). Preference will be given to candidates who can also cover additional future dates, including March 8-15, 2027, May 31-June 7, 2027, and various dates between July and December 2027.
Requirements
- Must hold an active Indiana State License.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible status (certification should be obtained within 5 years post-residency).
- Proof of flu vaccination required, with allowance for medical or religious exemptions.
- COVID-19 vaccination required or appropriate medical/religious exemption must be provided.
- Proficiency in Thrombolytic Therapy for Stroke.
- Proficiency in Electroencephalogram (EEG).
- Proficiency in Electromyogram (EMG).
- Proficiency in Spinal/Paraspinal/Epidural Blocks.
- Proficiency in Brain Death Examination.
- Proficiency in Lumbar Puncture.
- Proficiency in Subdural Taps.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years in the relevant specialty preferred.
- Ability to cover additional future dates: March 8-15, 2027; May 31-June 7, 2027; July-December 2027.
Responsibilities
- Provide coverage for Neurology services during the specified periods.
- Administer Thrombolytic Therapy for Stroke.
- Perform Electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures.
- Conduct Electromyogram (EMG) procedures.
- Perform Spinal/Paraspinal/Epidural Blocks.
- Conduct Brain Death Examinations.
- Perform Lumbar Punctures.
- Perform Subdural Taps.
