About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Neurologist to join a reputable facility in beautiful Petoskey, Michigan, starting in November 2026. This facility offers a collaborative environment with regular clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, along with 24-hour weekend call coverage. You will have the chance to provide exceptional care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Neurology (REQUIRED).
• Active Michigan medical license (REQUIRED at time of name clear).
• Local provider; travel is not permitted (REQUIRED).
• Active DEA confirmation (REQUIRED).
• Clean malpractice history with details on carrier and coverage limits.
• Self-Query NPDB report within the month of presentation (REQUIRED).
• Current Michigan medical license.
• Board certification in Neurology.
• Active DEA registration.

Nice To Haves

• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and follow-ups.
• Manage outpatient clinic appointments (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays).
• Provide after-hours and weekend call coverage.
• Perform required procedures including Radiologic Exam Interpretation, Lumbar Puncture, EEG, Brain Death Examination, and Evoked Potentials.
• Handle EEG readings for inpatient and outpatient needs.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) system: Cerner.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
