About The Position

This is an on-site, contract position offering an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide high-quality neurological care in a dynamic clinical environment. As part of our medical practice, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with complex neurological conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, and managing a wide range of neurological disorders. You will work closely with primary care physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure seamless, patient-centered care. Your clinical expertise and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to the reputation and growth of our neurology services within the community and the broader healthcare network.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Neurology
  • Associate-level experience (typically 1–4 years) in clinical neurology practice
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting while also functioning effectively as part of a team
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and standard medical documentation practices
  • Current DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certification
  • Must be board-certified

Responsibilities

  • Provide thorough neurological consultations and comprehensive patient evaluations
  • Diagnose and manage conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, migraine, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological disorders
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests including EEG, EMG, MRI, CT, and lumbar puncture as clinically indicated
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated and continuous patient care
  • Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Participate in on-call coverage and provide timely follow-up care as required
  • Educate patients and their families on neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in neurology through continuing medical education and professional development
