About The Position

This contract, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services within a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment. As a Locum Radiologist with 77 Consultants, you will be responsible for interpreting a wide range of imaging studies, delivering accurate diagnoses, and collaborating closely with referring physicians to guide patient care. This role is integral to our medical practice, ensuring that patients receive timely and reliable radiology services. You will work on-site at our Hanford facility, contributing to a team that values precision, patient safety, and clinical excellence.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Radiology
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the state where the position is located
  • Associate-level experience in radiology practice
  • Proficiency in interpreting multiple diagnostic imaging modalities
  • Strong diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site, fast-paced medical environment
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and care quality
  • Eligibility and willingness to work on a locum tenens contract basis
  • Must be board-certified

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and report on X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other diagnostic imaging studies
  • Communicate findings to referring physicians and recommend appropriate follow-up procedures
  • Perform image-guided procedures, including biopsies and aspirations, when required
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of radiology reports in the electronic medical record system
  • Collaborate with radiologic technologists to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and care planning meetings
  • Adhere to all relevant medical, legal, and radiation safety standards
  • Provide on-site radiology coverage during the scheduled contract period
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in radiology and imaging technology
  • Deliver compassionate and professional care to patients undergoing imaging procedures
