About The Position

Riverside Medical Group is seeking a full-time Neuro-Hospitalist to join our dynamic and collaborative team at Riverside Neurology & Sleep Specialists, located in Newport News, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to join a leading Stroke & Neuro Team in Coastal Virginia, working in a high-volume, high-acuity environment within the only Comprehensive Stroke Certified Hospital in the Peninsula and the only Level II Trauma Center in the region. The facility includes a 450-bed hospital with two 18-bed ICUs (neuro, surgical, medical) and a dedicated 36-bed Neuroscience Unit. Riverside Neurology is one of the largest neurology practices in the region, offering a Comprehensive Stroke Program and Network, driven by a mission to deliver the right care at the right time.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
Eligible for Virginia medical licensure.
Experience in inpatient stroke and general neurology.
Comfortable managing consults in ICU, ER, and medical floors.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
Current DEA license.
Virginia Medical License.

Responsibilities

Manage inpatient stroke and general neurology cases.
Provide consults in ICU, ER, and medical floors.
Participate in night shift call coverage on weekends.
Collaborate with a team of providers committed to quality, safety, and service excellence.
