About The Position

Pinnacle Live is a premium, in-house AV and event production company operating at premier hotels and resorts across North America. The Network Services Manager manages the venue-based networking team, products, and services, including network configuration and maintenance and networking-related customer service inquiries. The role leads venue networking operations and client communications, supports sales and event setup, and oversees networking equipment and team performance. The position also participates in audio-visual activities and maintains technical skills across audio, video/data, staging, computer operation, and networking.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum three years of event technology experience in a hospitality environment.
Minimum three years of demonstrated managerial experience.
Demonstrated experience aligning team members behind common goals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization and assigned properties.
Strong technical aptitude.
Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 TCP/IP networking principles.
Knowledge of Layer 2 VLANs, including setup and configuration.
Demonstrated knowledge of virtual private networks (VPNs).
Working knowledge of a variety of computer software programs.
Continual attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
Excellent communication skills and ability to foster long-term relationships with internal teams and external partners.

CompTIA A+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and execution for venue-based networking needs while providing best-in-class service to internal and external stakeholders.
Train, manage, and develop team members in accordance with company SOPs and customer service standards.
Communicate with clients and stakeholders about networking services and capabilities in coordination with hotel sales.
Manage installation, configuration, and testing of equipment attached to the network, whether temporary or permanent.
Assist with or approve network designs and architectures for temporary circuits or wireless networks according to client specifications.
Troubleshoot and assist clients with networking and AV equipment, including client laptops.
Organize and execute networking activities while participating in AV activities, including sets, strikes, storeroom maintenance, customer service, and inventory maintenance.
Participate in maintaining in-house networking systems.
Manage the sales process to maximize business and revenue capture.
Assist with technical client consultations, onsite visits, and conference calls.
Coordinate with Sales and Operations management on configuration and setup of client networking needs before group arrival.
Coordinate with Event Concierge and Sales Managers to ensure on-site networking additions and changes are documented.
Maintain accurate client event information in company business systems.
Drive inventory processes for networking equipment.
Review daily invoices with clients and obtain signatures as needed.
Immediately report lost, stolen, or damaged equipment to management.
Ensure company-occupied areas are clean, organized, and meet company standards.
Continually improve technical skills in audio, video/data, staging, computer operation, and networking.
Comply with company policies, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
Direct exempt and non-exempt personnel, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning and assigning work, coaching, mentoring, performance appraisal, rewards and discipline, and resolving complaints and problems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
