About The Position

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Neonatologist to join its team. The network’s 40-bed, Level IV NICU at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest ranks in the top 10 percent for overall parent satisfaction. The network also provides neonatal care at a Level III NICU at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono and a Level II NICU at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg. The position is onsite at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Teaching opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Must be board eligible or board certified.
• Fellowship training is required.
• A current Pennsylvania medical license or the ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform neonatal resuscitation and procedures on term, preterm, and extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat critically ill preterm and term infants.
• Provide critical care to infants transported by air and ground from outside hospitals to the Level IV NICU.
