About The Position
The Neonatologist provides inpatient and outpatient clinical coverage in Worcester, Massachusetts, with clinical and call responsibilities. Scheduled clinic coverage is from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The role includes neonatal and pediatric inpatient care, night and weekend call, and 24-hour onsite coverage as needed. The coverage period is listed as ASAP through March 1, 2027, for supplemental coverage. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the agency.
Requirements
- Board certified.
- Licensed in Massachusetts.
- PALS certification.

Responsibilities
- Provide clinic coverage for pediatric patients during scheduled hours (7 a.m.–5 p.m.).
- Manage inpatient neonatal and pediatric care, including ventilator management, intubation, and central line placement.
- Provide night call coverage for pediatric emergencies and admissions.
- Perform 24-hour onsite coverage as needed, handling all pediatric cases.
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in rounding.
