About The Position
Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a fellowship-trained Neonatologist to join its neonatal care team. The network includes a 40-bed Level IV NICU at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, described as ranking in the top 10 percent for overall parent satisfaction, as well as Level III and Level II NICUs at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono and Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg, respectively. Teaching opportunities are available. The position is onsite at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, and is listed as a day shift. The role includes neonatal resuscitation and procedures, assessment and treatment of critically ill infants, and providing critical care during air and ground transports to the Level IV NICU. Candidates must be board eligible or board certified, fellowship trained, and hold or be able to obtain a current Pennsylvania medical license.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Perform neonatal resuscitation and procedures on term, preterm, and extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat critically ill preterm and term infants.
- Provide critical care to infants during air and ground transport from outside hospitals to the Level IV NICU.
