The Mobile Clinical Counselor works as a full-time employee of Zeiders Enterprises and provides assessment and short-term, solution focused non-medical counseling services and proactive, non-traditional walk-around participant outreach to eligible Navy Wounded Warrior (NWW), Navy Gold Star (NGS), and Fisher House individuals as part of the CNIC Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) Global Staffing Contract. This position is an in-person position that provides support on a rotating travel schedule, while maintaining a hybrid caseload (Virtual + In-person). The Mobile Clinical Counselor attends NGS memorial events, NWW adaptive sports and other engagements to deliver individual, marital or intimate partner, family, and/or group counseling while establishing trust, reducing the stresses of military life, and building rapport to connect participants with ongoing program support. The candidate must be located within a reasonable commuting distance of a military installation for the purpose of CAC issuance. Mobile Clinical Counselors may be asked to provide virtual surge support to other regions, and in times of crisis or disaster response, are required to travel on short notice (within 48 hours) to provide on-site clinical support and Psychological First Aid (PFA).
