Cydcor
•$80,000 - $100,000•Remote

About The Position

Cydcor is seeking a commercially minded sales professional to connect client priorities with execution across an independent B2B field sales network. The National Account Manager will grow revenue and profitability, strengthen client relationships, gain buy-in from independent business owners, and develop practical initiatives that improve sales quality and campaign performance. This is a hands-on, travel-intensive role rather than a traditional desk-based account management position. The role serves as a key liaison among clients, Cydcor teams, and independent field sales organizations. It includes managing campaign performance and client partnerships, supporting commercial negotiations and account growth, coaching field leaders, coordinating launches and market expansions, and presenting performance recommendations. The role is remote and requires regular travel, anticipated at approximately 50–60% ongoing and potentially as high as approximately 90% during initial ramp-up.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant outside B2B sales experience, including personally acquiring new customers through face-to-face prospecting at business locations.
  • Experience selling to small or midsize businesses, such as independently owned companies and professional offices, and engaging directly with business decision-makers.
  • Experience leading, coaching, or influencing the performance of outside B2B sales teams or field-based sales partners.
  • Ability to build relationships with independent business owners and influence sales execution without direct management authority.
  • Experience managing business client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and participating in commercial negotiations or account expansion.
  • Ability to interpret sales performance data, identify gaps, and develop actionable improvement plans.
  • Strong presentation, communication, partnership, and organizational skills.
  • Comfort building new processes and working in a changing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to meet extensive business travel requirements; travel may reach approximately 90% during initial ramp-up, with an anticipated ongoing level of approximately 50–60%.

Nice To Haves

  • Outside sales experience in payroll/HCM, merchant services, telecommunications, commercial insurance, business services, or comparable small-business customer acquisition environments.
  • Experience supporting national or multi-market campaigns, distributed sales teams, independent sales organizations, or franchise-like partner networks.
  • A track record of improving field productivity, sales quality, account growth, client satisfaction, or campaign profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Own client and campaign relationships as a key liaison among clients, Cydcor teams, and independent B2B field sales organizations.
  • Drive campaign revenue, profitability, customer acquisition, and growth; identify opportunities to expand existing client business and support commercial negotiations.
  • Partner with independent business owners and field leaders to align priorities, improve execution, and influence results without direct reporting authority.
  • Evaluate territory and campaign performance using sales, pipeline, quality, productivity, and profitability metrics; develop action plans and communicate progress.
  • Coach and support field sales leaders on sales practices, product knowledge, systems, client expectations, and performance improvement.
  • Build and implement field initiatives, incentives, and programs to improve productivity, sales quality, and revenue growth.
  • Coordinate campaign launches, new field offices, market expansion, and integration of new leaders or initiatives.
  • Present business reviews and performance recommendations to clients and internal leadership.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Sales Quality, Training, and other teams to resolve issues.
  • Travel regularly to field locations, client meetings, and campaign events to build relationships and support execution firsthand.

Benefits

  • Starting base salary of $80,000–$100,000 plus bonus opportunity.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Flexible PTO.
  • Career growth opportunities within a high-visibility, client-facing role.
  • Remote flexibility with approximately 60% travel to field offices, client meetings, and campaign events.
