About The Position

The National Account Director is the dedicated, external-facing lead for one of the three major national PBM/GPO accounts: CVS Caremark/Zinc, Express Scripts/Ascent, or Optum Rx/Emisar. Drawing on established relationships with account decision makers, this person drives timely and favorable access for sonelokimab. The role executes the account plan, leads Pre-approval Information Exchange (PIE) and formulary discussions, supports contract negotiations and pull-through, and shares account insights to inform access, pricing, and contracting strategy. Before launch, the Director maps the assigned account’s decision-making structure, influencers, processes, and timelines; develops and executes the account plan; deepens senior relationships across clinical, trade, and contracting functions; leads compliant PIE discussions; provides account insights for access strategy and payer materials; and works with Pricing & Contracting to prepare for potential contract requirements and scenarios. From FDA approval through 6–12 months post-approval, the Director leads formulary review meetings and clinical presentations, supports rebate negotiations and contract execution, drives coverage pull-through with downstream health plans alongside FRMs and sales, tracks coverage policies and utilization management criteria, resolves or escalates access barriers, and reports account status, risks, and opportunities to the Payer Account Team Lead and cross-functional partners. The role requires frequent travel to account sites and internal meetings. MoonLake describes itself as a dynamic, innovative clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on sonelokimab and inflammatory diseases with significant unmet needs. It offers a supportive learning environment, impactful work, flexibility and work-life balance, and opportunities for career growth.
